Tom Gross is a recognized leader in a variety of industries, including automotive, equipment manufacturing, professional services, facility design and defense contracting.  Over the past twenty-six years, Mr. Gross has held senior leadership positions in the automotive industry such as Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Vice President and Director.  He was a member of the senior management teams of firms such as Dürr AG, The Gleason Works, Ford & Earl Associates and Giddings & Lewis (Cross).  Mr. Gross has coached dozens of senior managers and CEO’s during his career through the process of strategic business planning, operational effectiveness and leadership development.  His qualifications and business experience in the strategic planning process adds a unique perspective in resolving complex business issues.

In 2003, Mr. Gross founded Cornerstone Advisory Group, Inc.  Cornerstone Advisory Group is a firm of senior business and consulting professionals that specialize in improving corporate financial and operational performance, execute corporate turnarounds, recruit top executive talent and locate private equity financing for entrepreneurs. Cornerstone Advisory Group also provides other high-impact professional services such as interim management, business transaction advisory, strategic planning and asset financing. 

Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Metallurgy from Western Michigan University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Detroit and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University.  Tom is also a certified advisory board facilitator, certified business coach, member of the Turnaround Management Association, Automation Alley, the Economic Club of Detroit and the Detroit Athletic Club.
