Tom Gross is a recognized leader in various industries, including automotive, equipment manufacturing, engineering services and defense contracting. Over the past two decades, Mr. Gross has held senior leadership positions in the automotive industry such as Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Vice President and Director. He was a member of the senior management teams of firms such as Dürr AG, The Gleason Works and Giddings & Lewis (Cross). Mr. Gross has coached dozens of senior managers during his career through the process of strategic business planning, operational effectiveness and leadership development. His qualifications and business experience in the strategic planning process add a unique perspective in resolving privately held business owner issues.

In 2004, Mr. Gross founded the Cornerstone Advisory Group (CAG). CAG provides consulting services to privately owned businesses in strategic planning, operational management, performance improvement and sales & marketing. CAG is also a licensed partner with The Alternative Board-TAB® of Denver, Colorado. TAB® is an organization that offers small to mid-size business leaders peer advisory and strategic planning services based on real-world business solutions. Mr. Gross is certified by The Alternative Board as a peer advisory board facilitator and Strategic Business Leadership-SBL® coach.

Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Metallurgy from Western Michigan University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Detroit and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from GMI Engineering and Management Institute. Tom is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Association for Corporate Growth, Detroit Regional Chamber and Michigan Business & Professional Association as well as other professional organizations.
